Alexander Morenance looked at the computer screen in front of him and sighed. He fingered at the necklace around his neck with two fingers. The four pointed celtic symbol fluttering between his nimble fingers as he read the page.
"Copper Demon, known best for the laundering of money for upper level demonic fronts. They work mostly below ground, using their powers to send 'agents' to the surface and retrieve the funds. Seems to me these beasties aren't in the mood for negotiation. You shouldn't have froze it Call." Alex swiveled in the chair to face the other people in the room. A tall dark haired boy who had Alex's nose and height stuck his tongue out at him.
"I didn't know what it was. What if it was benign and I accidentally orbed it to the wasteland?" Alex's cousin Callin Otairrel, replied scathingly as his hands glowed brightly and the wound on the rooms third member vanished, completely healed.
"Then you could have gone there and gotten it back." She told him sharply as she tested her wrist. The only female in the room, Anna NicArnen looked at her male companions and frowned. "And healed it. You've done it before." She said.
Call raised his hands in defeat and muttered. "Ok ok so I screwed up, how was I to know the victim in my premonition was demonic?" He said in exasperation. The rooms fourth member scowled and stood, his short blond hair and eyeglass framed eyes almost sparking in his irritation.
"While we sit about here discussing Call's screw up. The Copper demon is probably sending up more agents as we speak to steal money from innocents." He turned to Alex at the computer. "What do these agents look like anyways?"
Alex read off the screen "Agents are the projected image of a Copper Demons mind. They can think and act independently, but always follow the Master's discretion. They have a physical presence, meaning they can touch things, but have no actual powers. They do have the ability to channel the Master's power for short periods." He turned back to face Call. "Seems the guy you and Anna fought off was just the tip of the iceburg. We've got a full blown Demonic conspiracy." All for of them lightly brushed the necklace about their necks that was the symbol of their coven.
Blond boy, Wesley Arcelboc, read over Alex's shoulder. "While an agent may be destroyed by a regular witch's powers, only the Power's of Three and or Four may vanquish a Copper Demon. Which means we need a Power of Four spell guys." He continued to read "Copper Demons are also immune to most witch powers and can only be found when above ground, as their lairs are unscryable. They arrive above ground once a month at the New moon as they are vulnerable to light of almost all kinds, especially moonlight."
Call sighed. "The new moon is in three days. We need a spell as well as potions that have an effect on the beast to hold it off long enough for us to spell it." He turned to Anna. "Can you handle th potions while I get started on the spell and these two idiots continue to learn more about the scum?" He asked the young woman, brushing a stray hair from her cheek. She blushed and nodded. "OK lets get going people. We've got a demon to vanquish."
